I have a GMA-4500MHD card and I'm attempting to set up dual display with two monitors and a VGA to VGA adapter. I've tried unsuccessfully for most of the night to get this right, but the second monitor refuses to act an extension of the desktop:
When I select screen 2, to activate it, it quickly deactivates once I apply the changes and goes "grey"
When I access the graphics card properties, I do not have an option to extend the desktop, nor is the 2nd monitor recognized. During normal operation, this isn't the case.
What am I missing? My initial thought is that I need to get a different splitter and use another inputon the docking station.Happy to get any help! Thanks!
