Hi guys,
I'm comparing a lot both cameras (Perceptual and RealSense) and it seems that the old one is much better on getting hand image position.
I mean, if I hold my hand still and write its X/Y position on the screen, I can be precise enough for the numbers not to change using the Perceptual camera. With the RealSense one, this is impossible and sometimes the numbers vary for more than 10 pixels from frame to frame. The world position precision is even worse.
Is this the expected behavior due to more points of the hands to track or do you thing my camera is not working very well? If the later is true, is it possible to calibrate it?
Thanks

Hi Andre!
Do you already have the camera?
Thanks.

Hi Andre,
please have a look at the hand tracking in the latest (Gold) release.
I am not sure how you measured the accuracy before, but I can guarantee that hand positions in this release are more stable and robust.
Let us know what you experience, and (if you want) how you measure your accuracy.

Hi Dagan,
Thanks for the follow up.
I'm don't have a RealSense camera anymore, I was using a borrowed one.
I'll receive a new one because of the App Challenge (just got the confirmation e-mail) and as soon as it gets here I will test it again.
Cheers,
André
