Hi All,

I noticed that MPSS HostbasedAuthentication issue is in
investaigation according to the latest release notes (2.1.6720-15).

Actually HostbasedAuthentication is working for us.

It was mostly straight forward to configure it, except one issue in
/etc/hosts in a host machine.

If you see the following message when ssh to a mic card:

get_socket_address: getnameinfo 8 failed: Name or service not known
cannot get sockname for fd
ssh_keysign: no reply
key_sign failed

Please check see if /etc/hosts has an entry for your host machine.

e.g.
172.31.1.254    hostmic0

I think this entry should be added by micctrl but it didn't.

I don't think this is only issue regarding to HostbasedAuthentication for MIC, but hope it might help some.
