Independent Displays via Intel Embedded Graphics Drivers

Hi all Intel professionals,

Wehave a problem concerning about independent displays.
We want to deploy an application over a server that has 2 monitors at least. The GUI of the application will target at the secondary monitor.
The primary screen can be used for anything about server configuration but"must" be"locked" when idle.
That's where the problem arises. When we attempt to lock the workstation, it cleans up all monitors either attached or detached to itself, and request for the credentials (XP Lock Screen, Windows Server 2003 Lock Screen).
Whatwe exactly need is to dedicate the secondary monitor only to my application and to keep it monitoring allways and unaffected by windows lock screen.
We couldnt find any proper solution for it, yet. Even ifwe disable the secondary screen an run the application (say Notepad.exe..) in the secondary screen as an independent application, lock screen cleans it up as well.
Wewant to ask for this problem to you so as to proceed further.
Is there any way to get around this problem by means ofIntel Embedded Graphics Drivers?

Thanksin advance,

What driver version are you using? Which part? Does it work on other parts?

We have the following graphics card installed on the system right know. But we can tune it according to the requirements.

    • Driver Version: 6.14.10.4267
    • Driver Date: 22.02.2005
  • ATI Radeon X600 Dual
  • 2 Monitors
    • Case 1:Both of them is attached to ATI graphics card
    • Case 2: One of them is attached to Intel graphics card, the other one is idle
  • Windows XP Pro
