I just download the Intel Parallel Studio XE 2016 Composer Edition for C++ OSX, and want to install it. However, when I choose install as a administrator, it asked me to type in administrator password. Then I type the serial number of this product, but it failed. It said my authorization failed.
Does anyone meet the same problem and how to solve it?

Did you check whether you were issued a new serial number on the download site? Otherwise, the companion site about licensing may get you faster response.

I checked it and find they are the same serial. no new serial number on the download site.

Due to some license design changes you need to ensure you've the updated license file or serial number to use the production version of the Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE 2016 product. The article at https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/required-product-license-upgrade-for-intel-parallel-studio-xe-2016 goes over the 2016 upgrade details. You need to make sure you are using the new serial number sent to you by email on the product upgrade notification email. Also, you can refer to https://software.intel.com/en-us/faq/licensing under the section "how to manage your license" and you can resend the license file yourself to your email as well.
Also, I am routing this issue to the Download, Registration and License forum at: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-software-development-products-download-registration-licensing so the support folks can check your serial number and ensure the license is valid and email you the license file or provide you the correct serial number for your product. Appreciate your patience till then.

Xing, an email was sent to you with the license file for the product. Please use the license file option during install giving full path to where the license file exists and continue your installation (which should work fine). Please let us know if you still have issues or if it was resolved, thanks.
