I'm trying to evaluate the Parallel Studio XE, but running into several difficulties.
Both the online and offline installers fail due to a bad file in the install package.
The online installer stops with the following error:
Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE 2015 Cluster Edition for Windows* Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error(s).
Error message: Error 1. The cabinet file '2' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
Error code: 1603
File name: w_fcompxe_redist_ia32_2015.0.108.msi
The offline installer stops with the following:
Error while extracting file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Download\parallel_studio_xe_2015_setup\installs\composer_xe\108\w_cproipp_st_jpeg_intel64_p_8.2.0.108\data1.cab
Crc is mismatched.
I've tried both methods multiple times, each time getting the same results.
I am also unable to create a support account. Following the link in the email I received returns a page which says: "There is a delay for the final configuration of your support account. Please wait approximately 1 hour and click the same link in the email you received, to complete the configuration." At this point it has been over 18 hours since I received the initial email (hence the forum post looking for help)

xhaix - if you haven't already, try downloading the package using their Download Manager. I was finding that the error seemed to be in different places with each download (thought the installer always verified the archive as good). I was able to successfully install the trial with the copy I got using the Download manager.

The purpose of online installer is to offer the opportunity to select options, e.g. ia32 vs. intel64. If you intend to install everything, download with manager is probably preferable.
