Hi,
we have purchased several licenses for the Parallel Studio 2016 XE. The installer could not establish the internet connection, so we had to get the license files manually. This got the installer working. However right at the end of the installation process it starts rolling back the installation components with eventual installation failure message.
What could be the issue? I previously had MS Studio 2005 with Fortran compile (Vers 10.1.X) installed, which I've removed before installing the parallel studio.

Hello,
This is a known issue with the 2016 version of Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran Windows*. It happens when the installer does not detect Visual Studio and attempts to install the VS 2013 shell. You can read more about the issue and how to resolve it here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/trouble-shooting-visual-studio-2013-shell-installation-issues
If you try those steps and still cannot resolve the issue, please let me know.
Regards,
Jennifer
