Dear all,
Recently after a system restart, Intel MPI library produces a license error when compiling source code. The following error appears:
icc: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-ftracer'
icc: command line remark #10148: option '-W' not supported
icc: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-ftracer'
icc: command line remark #10148: option '-W' not supportedError: A license for CCompL is not available now (-15,570,115).
A connection to the license server could not be made. You should
make sure that your license daemon process is running: both an
lmgrd.intel process and an INTEL process should be running
if your license limits you to a specified number of licenses in use
at a time. Also, check to see if the wrong port@host or the wrong
license file is being used, or if the port or hostname in the license
file has changed.License file(s) used were (in this order):
1. Trusted Storage
2. 28518@XXXXX.XXX.XXXXXXX.XXX
3. /opt/intel/Compiler/11.0/074/licenses/CLOMP_XXXXXXX.lic
4. /opt/intel/licenses
5. <USER HOME>/intel/licenses
6. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses
7. /opt/intel/Compiler/11.0/074/bin/intel64/*.licPlease visit http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/support.htm if you require technical assistance.
icc: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license
I tried googling the issue but could not find a solution to the problem.
Is there any way to fix the license issue without rebooting the system, since we have many users and restarting the system requires lots of preparations.
Thank you in advance.
