Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @2.93GHz M/C Context Switching Range ..??

What could be the optimal CONTEXT SWITCHING (CS) range for "Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @2.93GHz" processor?

BTW, during normal data usages, the CS obtained were -

I suppose that it will be application dependent.For example multithreaded application will generally increase the amount of CS and also frequent transitions to kernel mode or syscalls in Linux could also increase the CS number.
