Hi,

We want to integrate Intel RealSense on Linux platform but currently, I could not get Intel RealSense 3D camera and sdk for linux.

As per the IDF2015 keynote video by Brian Krzanich, Intel RealSense support is going to be there for Linux also.

Could you please confirm the plan to provide Intel RealSense 3D camera and SDK support for linux platform?

What is the expected release date of Intel RealSense 3D camera and SDK support for Linux?

Regards

Mohita

When will it arrive for Linux? Sad you think that only windows exists.

Since Ariska's answer was posted last November, the RealSense scene has changed a lot.  An open source version of RealSense called librealsense is now available for Linux, Windows and Mac OSX.  It is suited to highly technical applications and unlike the official RealSense SDK, it supports multiple cameras.

Although Intel do not provide official technical support for librealsense, they do support its existence (the link below is in the highlighted "sticky" posts at the top of this forum's front page).

The long-promised Android support is also coming via the $399 Smartphone Developer Kit, which can now be reserved on the Intel store.
