Hello,
The Intel Software Manager crashes when executed since I have installed the "Update for Windows 8.1" (KB2919442). Shortly after starting, I see a popup window with "Intel Software Manager has stopped working....". You will also notice the same crash popping up when starting Visual Studio 2010 or 2013. I have also tried reinstalling the Parallel Studio XE for Windows, but that didn't help.
Is this a known issue on your side?
Regards,
Adriano

Adriano,
Thanks for letting us know. We haven't heard that yet and will investigate.
For now you can delete all user config files from:
c:\Users\<UUID>\AppData\Local\Intel_Corporation\ism2.exe_*
and restart the Intel® Software Manager again. Does this help?
Regards, Hubert.

Hello Hubert,
Yes, that helped! The Intel Software Manager starts now as usual.
Thank you very much!
