We have release v2323 of the Intel XDK. We have made updates to the installer, the Intel App Security API Plugin and App Designer.

Also, the Facebook* and Firefox* OS targets in the Project and Build tabs have been deprecated. Support for these and previously deprecated legacy build targets will be removed from the Intel XDK in the near future.

For a full list of changes/updates/bug fixes/known issues, please see the official release notes page https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/release-notes-information-intel-xdk

@Sam -- several people have reported symptoms similar to what you are seeing in other versions of the XDK. In those cases something about the install failed, resulting in what you are seeing.

Please try to perform a complete uninstall of the XDK and reinstall. See this post for instructions on a complete uninstall: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/542074 (ignore the instructions to install 1621, install the latest version, and also ignore the instructions to rename any "bak" files).

Hi,

If I add App Security API plugin in build settings in 2323 version of XDK, the crosswalk app in android while opening, it alerts "Unfortunately, App has stopped".

I thought, there may be problems in my code, but I tried creating a empty app just with this plugin, still I am getting the same error.

Could somebody please help me.

Regards,

Sam Deepak.

Are you installing the x86 or the ARM image onto your phone? You need to install and run the image that matches the processor architecture of your device. Most phones are ARM-based processors. Some tablets are x86. You can use the CPU-Z app to figure out what you have. If that apps reports "Intel" on the SOC tab you have an x86 device, otherwise you have an ARM device.

Since updating I've been unable to build to iOS

The build failed. An error occurred while building the application. The certificate could not be used to sign the application.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled XDK.

@Nick

The build system is independent of the XDK. Did your ios distribution cert expire?

Are you using any 3rd party plugins that were recently updated by the author?
