My comment is that the Intel XDK for IoT works in all the platforms I have tried. However, the Eclipse based iotdk-ide-xxx works for me only in Windows.
The Eclipse based ide using C/C++ is a better environment for me as I am more proficient in C/C++ than in Node or Javascript. I should be able to use it in my Mac or my Ubuntu machines, which I prefer.
Am I supposed to use only Windows to get the full advantage of my Galileo to develop applications?
