With the recent XDK update (2496) there appears to be a problem on Windows development machines when a project is not located on the same drive on which XDK is installed. For example if the XDK is installed on the C:\ drive, but your project is located on the D:\ drive, attempts to include third party plugins may fail with a dialog like this:
We are working on a solution, but in the meantime if this matches your situation, please try copying your project to the drive on which the XDK is installed as described in this FAQ (Q34) - https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/faqs/general
