Linux Non Commercial licenses

Hello folks,

I am a professor in a small univrsity in Brasil. In the past I have used intel compilers that had a free use license for non commercial development. I just downloaded a new version of the compilers, the Parallel Studio composer. However I cannot register the product for a non commercial license since it does not come with a serial number, neither I received one in my email.

Are the linux compilers not free for non commercial use any more? If they are, how do I register the product to get the license since I got no srial number?

Thanks for any help!

Dear Devorah,

I had looked at that site. Clearly from my post I am not a reseracher or professor in the US, hence my question. In the past we could get non-commercial free licenses for the compilers in linux versions. However I did not find any obvious way to do this with the new versions. If you could point me to a more clear explanation I would appreciate it.

cheers,

Hello Hektor,

The Intel® Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition for Fortran and C++ Linux* under the non-commercial license terms offering is currently under rework.  Until that time, please use the 30-day evaluation version of the product. You can visit  https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/try-buy-tools for more information. You may also watch the Non-Commercial Software Development page for News regarding registration for a new non-commercial license: https://software.intel.com/en-us/non-commercial-software-development
