I just started using intel XDK.

Could not figure out how to use live preview simple html file on browser

Live Layout has been retired. Please see the release notes > https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/release-notes-information-intel-xdk <

If you have having trouble with Live Preview, please see the instructions for Brackets, it is the standard Brackets feature, since that is, in fact, what the editor is based on (Brackets) > https://github.com/adobe/brackets/wiki/How-to-Use-Brackets#live-preview <
