I am developing an application which allocates memory to many arrays dynamically. The size of these arrays must be determined from the maximum physical (not virtual) free memory available to my application at run-time.

How can I determine the maximum physical (not virtual) free memory available in a system under windows and linux using DF6.5a?

Can anyone help me in this regard?
