Missing Footer

I'm developing a small App with XDK. The app has a <footer> menu. When I install the app live on my smart phone, it loads but without the footer. As soon as I rotate the phone, the footer appears and then remains irrespective of orientation ( I am not using any device orientation as a part of the app). If I use the live preview app or the emulator, I don't get the problem. I guess I'm doing something stupid. but I can't work out what it might be

Try implementing these little part of codes and test it out. Let us know if you are facing same difficulty.
