Need Help updating chipset for 915G keeps getting stuck on a version not even listed

I have been at this for over 12 hours now and totally stumped. I am trying to do a chipset update to the latest version which was released 12/22/09 so that PCI will reconize new Video card and such..

Problem I have, NO matter what sequence I run the updates in, driver version always gets stuck at driver date 3/10/2005 version 7.0.0.1019 which does not even show on update versions....

I can go backwards to the

4/28/2005

6.3.0.1007
Update just not to the current....

ANY ideas.....
