Need help with S-Video TV Out

I have an older Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop with s-video tv out and an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller. When I try to connect the laptop to my tv using s-video cables and audio cables, I get audio but no tv. The Intel graphics controller doesn't show a second monitor and doesn't seem to recognize the tv out function. Any ideas to get this to work? Thanks for your help.

You might contact Dell since they would be the ones that would provide the support for this. It might be a BIOS setting or some such. But I would check with them.
