The password is for the administrator account on the machine. If you are the only user of the machine, then it is likely your login password.

No, it says authorisation failure. Check password and try again.

There was an incompatibility with the initial release of Parallel Studio XE 2016 version and OS X 10.11 which should be resolved by update 1, explained here:

If you have the latest update and are still getting this problem, can you send me the install log files (intel.pset.*.log) in a private message from /tmp or the folder specified in $TMPDIR?
