I have written a program using version 6.5 Fortran, and have distributed copies to several people, and in general it works well. However, one user with Win98SE reports that the program crashes when he tries to print on his machine. The error message is: Subsystem: KERNEL, Error: IllegalTag, Operator 0x1b, Position 2. I upgraded to version 6.6A and the user reported that the program no longer crashes and will print to a inkjet printer, but not to a laserjet.
For your information, my program is a Quickwin application, with the printing invoked using a WINPRINT argument in an APPENDMENUQQ call in INITIALSETTINGS. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
