Hello,
I have downloaded Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* 2016 Update 3 with academic license. I am trying to install them in my Laptop running Linux Ubuntu 16.04. I have registered my serial number on Intel Registration Center (https://registrationcenter.intel.com) and noted that my serial number has valid support status and active. When i came into installation process, at activation step (using online activation) i entered my serial number and i got this message:
Intel(R) Software Installer The serial number you provided is not valid for this product.
Any idea about what could be causing this? I would be very please if anyone could help me about this...

Hi Indra,
Activation with serial number is supposed to work, if you have internet connection on the machine, and your serial number is for that product and has a current support. I saw you have a couple licenses. One thing you could try is to generate a license file manually. See this: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/how-do-i-get-a-license-file-for-an-offline-installation-of-intel-parallel-studio-xe-2016
If that doesn't work, please send me your serial number via private message.
Thanks.
