Not sure if this is the right forum to post this, I know very little about the products but have been asked to look into a license management problem we are having.
User is using the Intel Compiler studio products on his linux box. It seems that the Dbgl feature from the license server isn`t working for them. Would you be able to advise as to what might be going wrong.
The user is getting the following error
>>>>>> [jd12g09@uos-10450]~> which idbc
>>>>>>> /local/software/intel/composerxe-2011.4.191/bin/intel64/idbc
>>>>>>> [jd12g09@uos-10450]~> idbc

>>>>>>>

From the license server log files I can see the following error. The user is picking up a license but then immediately handing it back.
>>>>>> 11:22:28 (INTEL) OUT: "IB87C5F90" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:22:28 (INTEL) OUT: "DbgL" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:22:38 (INTEL) IN: "IB87C5F90" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:22:38 (INTEL) IN: "DbgL" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:23:19 (INTEL) OUT: "IB87C5F90" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:23:19 (INTEL) OUT: "DbgL" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:23:21 (INTEL) IN: "IB87C5F90" jd12g09@uos-10450
>>>>>> 11:23:21 (INTEL) IN: "DbgL" jd12g09@uos-10450
We`ve tried the software on some other machines and it seems to be working correctly.
Many Thanks
