Qr code reader

Excuse me if this is a bad question, I am a beginner, but why and when would you need/use the code reader for the app-preview app ? Thanks in advance.

Are you asking why you would want to use bar code reader?

Thats up to the developer. Perhaps you want to scan a QR code that contains a URL that gets read and then launched using the InAppBrowser plugin.
