Question About Upgrading License File

Hello! I hope this email finds you well!

I purchased the "Intel C++ Compiler For Windows" standard edition product back in 2005.
Also, during the next three years, purchased two software support contracts.

My recent software support contract expired on 11/12/2009. I discovered that I
am eligible to download updates to my product through this date!

I am eligible to downloadversions 11.0.72 through 11.1.Update3.
In the product description for 11.0.72 Inoticed the following statement in the description :

"If you have a valid Intel C++ Compiler Standard Edition for Windows* license, during your first download of this product you will be required to complete a simple upgrade of your license at no cost so you may install and use this product."

My question is : After I download version 11.0.72 or above, will some option present itself to upgrade
my license file, or, if not, how do I go about completing a simple upgrade of the
license file?

Thanks in advance for your time and effort in helping me!!

Phill.

Dear Phill,

This statement is about Intel C++ Compiler Standard Edition and the old licenses for 10.1 or earlier versions.
So, it was necessary to updateold licenses. Yourlicense is for 9.1 versionand youshould be able to update the license if your support is valid. It is a good question what happensif it isexpired. Will check and procide you an update soon.
