hello, my r200 stopped working this afternoon so i disconnected it and uninstalled the dcm and runtime. downloaded both again and begin the install of the dcm which ended without success giving me this error message.

Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager R200 Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error(s). error code : -3 To install this program at a later time, run Setup Wizard again. Click the Finish button to exit the Setup Wizard. tried twice again with same result. any ideas?

If you installed the optional runtime, then you likely have a newer version of the DCM than the SDK. You should have DCM vers 2.0.3.5319.

Run the sdk_info.exe in the bin folder to see what version your using.

i'm running into an issue with javascript samples on the sample browser. some samples work great while other samples [all javascript samples] ask to have the platform [microsoft edge] updated by downloading and running

intel_rs_sdk_runtime_webapp_7.0.23.8048.exe

which i do and then attempt to run the sample again and at that point receive the same update platform message.

like i said, some samples accept the platform as setup others request repeatedly for the update to be run.

What are you referring to as firmware ?

SDK version 7.0.23.8048

Depth Camera Manager Service ( in the camera tab of sdk_info.exe ) version 2.0.3.5319

From the download page :https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-realsense-sdk/download

Step 1  installs the DCM version  2.0.3.5319

Step 2 installs the SDK

I recommend not doing the optional step. I ended up with a new version of the DCM ( like vers 2.14.xx or something ) and I _think_

it cam from this optional step - though I have not confirmed it.

from the camera tab of sdk info there is a device 1 tab [without camera running] if you select it a firmware number is listed

i think this is the camera firmware.  what should that number be.
