R200 color exposure limit

Hi,

I have been trying to change the exposure times for the RGB camera. The range did not seem too great. I noticed that if I set auto exposure on, I get a much brighter image than if I set the exposure manually. This I found odd as querying the device for the exposure time gave a value '31'. No matter how high I manually set the exposure it gets capped at this 31 but gives a duller image than auto exposure. Am I missing something ? Or is this potentially a bug?

I found the QueryExposureInfo() function but this has only confused me more. It outputs that the range is from about 0.1 to 62 which really is not making a great deal of sense for me as if I set 62 as the exposure it still returns that the device has been set to 31. The only thing I can think of is somehow the 30FPS framerate of the cameras are restricting the exposures.

Also if anyone could clarify what units these values are in that would be a good help. The documentation says log_2 seconds but it is not very clear.
