Received Broken Camera Dev Kit

How do I go about exchanging my dev kit for a new one?  Mine is broken and locks up after about 20 seconds of use over and over and over and over.  I've reformatted my machine 3 times now and also tried the latest FW that was recently released.  Please help, I want to working SDK, this has been a huge waste of money so far.

I received my Realsense Developer Kit today and the camera is not recognized on two PCs, looks like the USB part is not working. I opened a support case on the Creative Webpage.

Hi, sorry to hear about that. How do you know it's broken? Is there any visible physical damage?

Also formatting your machine is of no use, so do not do that. When you say your camera locks up, could you attach a picture or describe it's behavior for me.

NOTE: Do send me message once you do all of this. Somehow replies aren't being forwarded to my mail.

There is no visible physical damage, it just locks up.

I'm not 100% sure what you want a picture of?  When I say locks up, all the software starts locking up, including but not limited to things like Windows Hello.  Anything that accesses the camera locks up after about 20 seconds of use.  Any of the SDK samples also lock up.  Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about that. Why don't you contact the people at Intel and tell them about this issue. I'm sure they'd definitely provide a solution if not replace it, because this is the first time I've heard of such an issue.
