Samples from paused analysis still show up in result

Hi,

As per my other thread, I have managed to get Amplifier working with our application for short captures. Our application takes a few minutes to initialize so I start with data collection paused and then unpause it for ~10 seconds after which I terminate the analysis from within the IDE.

This provides me with meaningful data and correct symbols. Good news indeed :]

However, the bad news is that even though I only run the capture for ~10 seconds there are entries in the result tables with 120+ seconds. It looks as though whichever function the profiler happened to be on when it was initially paused, also counts in the final result. As a side effect this skews the actual data by e.g. making percentages look completely wrong.

Any way to filter out this "paused" data and only retain results for the second capture?

Thanks again

Hi Stig,

This is not clear for me:

even though I only run the capture for ~10 seconds there are entries in the result tables with 120+ seconds. It looks as though whichever function the profiler happened to be on when it was initially paused, also counts in the final result.

Amplifier should not count any results while being in paused mode. What exactly made you thinking that some extra time is counted? If you post a screen shot, it might be easier to understand the issue.
