Smooth scroll and bounce

How to I make my app smooth scroll and bounce like a native app? I notice that the demo apps have this.

The demo apps rely on App Framework and jQuery frameworks to produce this effect.

So only App Framework and JQuery can have the native feeling scroll in Intel XDK? Its not available in other frameworks?
