Any chance of this forum hosting a code snippet library?

What do others think of this idea?

Surely it would save you some work instead of posting and re-posting answers to common problems?

The forum is probably not a good place for this, but I could set something up on our web site. The problem is that code snippets usually need some context to explain them, and aren't universally applicable.

If you think you have a snippet that would be of general interest, send it to me at [email protected] and I'll see what I can do with it. It would be best if you inserted comments at the beginning to explain the purpose.
