Hello,
I downloaded the Evaluation version of Intel fortran Composer XE2011 Update 3 for MAC OS X and when the installation program started it stopped almost immediately with the following error.
------------------
Could not run startup script
Error while executing the startup script. Make sure that you have write permissions to /tmp folder and /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses folder
------------------
Suggestions?

Hi,
The reason you're getting that error is that the composer package creates the license and install log files in the /tmp directory. It looks like either that directory is out of disk space or there's a permission problem. Please rectify the above it that's the case. In addition ensure that the directory /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses also has sufficient disk space and there is no rw permission problem.
Let me know if you still have issues after that?
-thanks,
Kittur

I solved this by creating "Intel" folder inside "/Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/".
Seems like a bug to me :/
