The performance of RealSense 3D camera

Hi everyone,

I need to buy a gesture camera which can track and recognize my hand/finger gestures accurately and quickly. I'm considering two products, Intel® RealSense™ Developer Kit and Leap Motion. Some information shows that Leap motion can't be used as a professional tracking system due to limited sensory space and inconsistent sampling frequency. But I can't find related information about RealSense camera performance. So I wonder if who could give me more information about RealSense camera? Or if someone is using RealSense camera, can you share your experience?
