Transferring Software to New Computer - "License Expired"

I am moving my Intel Visual Fortran Compiler v11 for Mac to a new computer. I have the disks originally purchased, but when I start the installation process, it returns an error that the license has expired.

I have not renewed maintenance/support on this license since it expired in February 2010, but it was my understanding that it was a perpetual license and I wouldn't need to unlessI intended to upgrade. I'm just trying to install the verison I purchased.

How do I get around this error without haveing to purchase a new license or upgrade?

Remote Activation is not supported for expired (support-wise) licenses. So I guess you chose this insallation option. Usethe license file (.lic) for installation. This should work.

(I'm sorry, I didn't realize how illegible that was...)

Thank you for getting back to me.

I extracted the license file from my old Mac computer: /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses/m_2BHJPV9R.lic

I copied it to my new Mac, and ran the install program. I selected Advanced activation, then Use License File, and I give it the one from above, and it says License provided is not valid for this solution set.

Im not sure how to proceed
