Hi all,
I have noticed others on this forum have been able to get their framerates into the 100s of frames per second. However, no matter what resolution I try for color or for depth, I seem to be unable to get above 30fps in the Raw Streams sample app or in any of my own apps (judging by the timestamps). This is strange, because the specs of my computer are quite good:
Processor: Intel Core i7-4970s @ 3.20Ghz
32 GB of RAM
Has anyone else encountered an issue like this? I have an application that could really benefit from as high of a framerate as possible
Thanks,
Chris Tralie

Ack, now for some reason it's dropping down consistently to 22fps on both color and depth (it was consistently going at 30fps before)....what is going on here??

If your PC is fast enough, it may be a drivers issue.

Hello Samon,
Thank you for the suggestion. I appear to have the most recent version of the drivers, version 1.4.27.52404. What else can I do to see if it's a driver issue?
Similarly, are there any diagnostic tools I can run to determine where the bottleneck is? I imagine others have had this issue, and I would love to hear what the possible problems are.
Thanks,
Chris

You could use a USB3 flash drive and an application to test the write/read speed to make sure there is enough bandwidth, and that everything is fine on your PC.
