Using R200 Scene Perception on conveyor objects

I know the R200 is supposed to work on rotating objects, or for the R200 itself to go around the object, but can I expect it to work for objects passing by on, for example, a conveyor belt?

Can we build a mesh of the object on the fly like that?

Will the algorithm not like the fact the object is going left-right rather than just staying centered and rotating?

It may work, depending on the implementation. But of course it will not be able to include the information from the other side of the object.
