Hello,
I've been trying to get this SDK kit to work with my macbook pro with a Haswell processor for a couple of days now, but still no success. I've installed windows 8.1 pro in bootcamp and turned off the USB power saver option. I have installed the newest SDK, newest driver from creative as well as the DCM software. In the end, the RGB camera works fine but as long as I try to turn on the depth senser the camera disconnects and reconnects.
Anyone has similar problem? Is there a solution to this?
Thanks in advance.

Are you using a USB 3.0 port?
You could also try using an externally powered USB 3.0 hub. Some USB ports do not provide enough power to the camera, which is power hungry... some users had solved their issues with the powered hub...

I've tried with my macbook which has two USB 3.0. The camera won't work on those, maybe due to the shortage of power supply. I managed to get the camera working via a powered external USB 3.0 hub. Note: some powered hubs have low amp. I have one with 5V and 2.5A but I wish that I bought one with 4A.

2.5A should be more than enough (for one port)

I was able to get RealSense running on a retina macbook from 2014 on bootcamp using Windows 8.1. (Note, it's a Crystalwell machine.) On the retina macbook, just make sure to plug it in the USB next to the mag-safe power port. Sometimes it "falls asleep" after hours of being connected, in which case, just reboot.
Note - I also had to reset the PRAM a few times when it failed to detect.
Are you using the new Creative camera with the silver/metal border? Model VF0800

I have a mid 2014 macbook pro with retina, so the processor is weaker but I don't think that's the problem. I was able to get three streams at the same time with opening the HD camera first, however, whenever I turn on the other two streams without the RGB stream the camera would disconnect. I also have to plug the camera in through a powered usb hub. I have the exact same model of camera as yours.

You may try using different resolutions and fps... it seems that some modes are not supported in certain combinations...
