Will judges have installed Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 N?

It´s relevant in my case, as NAudio requires aditional steps to work on Windows 8.1 N

You can specify what additional requirements are needed in your submission. I have specified that if 8.1N is installed, they must also install Windows Media Player, which is a requirement of my app.

Thanks for the answer, but I don´t think we can ask the judges to install anything. I am pretty sure I read that somewhere (can´t find now)

I think you can count on having equiv of 8.1 (media pack added to 8.1n if necessary)..

You should list it as a requirement for your SW to run. And you should list any additional software needed, but not count on the judges having it available if it doesn't come with the Gold R1 SDK or Windows 8.1.
