Hi,
System: Ubuntu 14.03, MPSS 3.4.1, 31S1P
When I run micinfo it display "Product 300W Passive CS" instead of 270W as product description. Is it a "feature" or a bug?
Thanks,

At first I was also concerned that the output said "MPSS Version : NotAvailable" but then I noticed that you were running Ubuntu and realized that this only meant it didn't find the rpm file - no surprise there.
As far as the 300W value, this is a known issue. It is not that the power really is 300W but that the SMC output is not being correctly interpreted. There was a work around in an earlier version of the micinfo code, but it seems to no longer be working. I'll submit a new bug report to let the developers know. (HSD 5162215)
