My Fortran code compiles with 0 errors and warnings. I'm having with linking in Visual Fortran. I get this message

Linking...
Creating library Debug/ProgramName.lib and object Debug/ProgramName.exp

and this step never completes. I end up doing a Ctrl Alt Del, End task. I have created duplicate workspaces & projects and the problem eventually reincurs. Have anyone ever come across this and do you have a solution?

This is a new one to me. Sounds like a problem on your system - perhaps insufficient RAM or swapfile space?
