Hi,
We are using the following motherboard (http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/3u/6037/SYS-6037R-72RFT_.cfm?parts=SHOW) to build a system featuring with Xeon Phi cards. We plan to have two Xeon Phi cards onboard. This motherboard only supports one rear GPU fan. We are wondering if one rear fan is enough for cooling two Xeon Phi cards together.

SuperMicro would be a better authority to consult about use of their motherboards. The web page you reference shows 2 rear fans. It's not clear whether they are recommending only "actively cooled" Intel(r) Xeon Phi(tm) cards; I would guess that to be the case.

Thanks for replying. Maybe I was not clear in the post, what I am asking is the additional rear fan in the Xeon Phi card side (top left in the referring webpage pic), but not the two rear exhaust fans inside the chassis. This type of motherboard & chassis only supports one addional rear fan, I just want to double check whether anybody has built similar system by using one addional fan to cool two MICs.

Let me make sure I understand your question. You are not talking about any cooling fan that is (potentially) on an Intel® Xeon Phi™ card. Your chassis only has one rear fan, not two. You want to know if two rear fans are necessary to properly cool two Intel® Xeon Phi™ cards. Am I correct?
If that is the case, I'm afraid that I can't help you. Calculating the proper amount of airflow and cooling required to support a certain hardware configuration is very complicated, especially when I don't know what that hardware configuration is. The best I can suggest is that you might be able to get some insight by reading the data sheet (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/xeon/xeon-phi-coprocessor-datasheet.html) and making direct measurements.
