new yocto kernel?

Mainly because I am hopeing that the 300 baud SPI issue may be fixed in it, is there any update on when a new kernel may be coming out - the last I saw said end of the year (and I assumed that year was 2014). When it is released, would I be correct in assuming it will be announced here? Stan

are you talking about Intel(R) Galileo or Intel(R) Edison?
