oprofile performance tuning... example applications are needed

I am doing my final year project in Oprofile...... adding PEBS support to oprofile.....coding is started...... So for the same purpose, I need some simple APPLICATION PROGRAMS where front_end_event, execution_event, and reply_event are significant............. Using these example application programs and the output from Oprofile, I hope i can explain the significance of my project...................
