Dear all,

I am looing for a similar GUI debugger interface like DDD and also works with idb. (Currnetly, DDD can not be used under idb background.)

Please let me know if you are using GUI debugger with idb.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Michael

Dear Changs888, sorry for the slow response. the following statements are for Linux*: The current Intel(R) Debugger (IDB) comes with it's own Eclipse* RCP full GUI interface. In addition it is available as a command-line only version in the distribution. Wer are currently working on a successor product of the current IDB, that will be open source based and integrate into the Eclipse IDE and Eclipse CDT. For OS X there are currently no plans to provide GUI integration of our application debug solution. Thanks, Rob

Rob, could you provide a rough estimate on when we can expect this? Like: this year, or within half a year, or more than one year? Thanks, Daniel

Hi Daniel, sorry, at this point in time we cannot commit to a specific release date for the follow-on debug solution. It is planned to align with the next major Intel(R) Composer XE release. Rob
