I cannot register my new I7-7700k because it says the format is wrong. I have the box with the serial number on it and there are no dashes, etc. that give it any unique format. What do I do?

You may be trying to register your processor in the registration center that is used mostly for software development products.
It appears that you may not need to register your processor.
