How does it not work on some computers? What happens when you try to use it? This option is available only when a Fortran source file is selected.

Try installing Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0 on the system.

I have the I.E. 6.0 - I understand that the "print colorized source" is done by the FSC - transfer the source to HTML page and than send it to printer - Its something with the FSC - please how can I track the procedure -?

It is very interesting - I tried to activate the FSC directrly on each *.for file (under fortran prompt) and I got a transfer to *.htm file (colorized source) and I sent it to the printer and its O.k.
so I belive tha the problem is between th developing stutio and the FSC utility - If you have some idea please write me
thank you

I hope that any general points arising from mikuls vs [email protected] will be published here because I have the same problem. Initially 'Print Colorised Fortran' worked, but now it doesn't, and I am also reduced to dragging source files to FSC.EXE and then printing the resultant .htm file.
In my case, it failed after I changed the source code icons to .for & .f90 icons from MVSCommonMSDEV98BINIDEDEVFOR.PKG, and I can discover no way back to getting 'Print Colorised Fortran' working again. As far as I can see, I have interfered with the file types and/or file associations and Dev Studio no longer recognises the source code files for printing.
I definitely feel that I am a

Same here. Clicking Print Colorized Fortran... creates only a file (file.for.htm) at C:Temp (shouldn't it ask about which printer I want to select?) and I have to send it to the printer separetly. I don't remember how this worked before. (EI 5.01, VS 6.0 SP5, CVF 6.6, W2K)

I used the wrong word at the end of my last message. I should have said that Dev Studio / CVF no longer produces .htm files, let alone prints anything. Sabalan can at least produce the .htm files with 'Print Colorised Fortran'. So there are degrees of this problem. My setup is IE6.0, VS6.0 SP5, CVF6.6, W2K SP2.

Bear, I think that your case may depend on the path to the temporary folder for the CFV (or VS). I don't know how to see or change this path but I suggest that you run a search for your source_file_name*.htm after running Print Colorized Fortran... to find out where the htm file is created.

Sabalan,
Thanks for the hint, but a search of both C & D drives (my source code is in the latter) shows no .htm file. When I have the source code file in focus, with the top edge blue and then click on 'Print Colorized Fortran' (PCF), all that happens is that the source file loses focus, the top edge greying out. So PCF has interacted with the source code file, if only in a useless way.
