using SR300 or R200 to recognize small object

Hey all,
​I bought Intel Realsense SR300 camera .
I want to recognize an object.The target object size is 32x24x17mm.
But the 3D point cloud isn't clear when the working distance at 50 cm.
Is R200 better than SR300 or not?
