Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this: I recently got a Thinkpad SL500 with x4500 integrated graphics, on which I installed Win 7 Ultimate RC build 7100 64bits. All works fine, except that I can't run my favorite game which is the old Quake 3, as I get the error 'GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem'. After googling around, I found this discussion on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproappcompat/thread/73d41939-7ae8-488d-ae08-ab13f2e8ebc7 , where the verdict seems to be graphics drivers.
So I installed the latest Intel drivers, the error is the same. Is there some workaround for this or is this a known limitation? Trying different Win compat modes doesn't fix it.
Thanks!
