How to measure the performance on multi-programmed workloads.

Hello

I wonder how to measure the performance on multi-programmed workloads.

I know a metric (weighted speedup), but I don't know how to measure the execution time considering fairness if each application has different execution time. is it right that applications that have short execution time should be repeated many times until the last application is finished?

I would like to know the general methodology.
